Why the SADC Market
The SADC region faces a structural energy deficit — ageing grid infrastructure, insufficient generation capacity, and an industrial base that cannot grow without reliable power. That deficit creates real, bankable demand for solar generation.
Nemsolar operates across SADC not as an export from South Africa but as a regionally fluent team. We understand local procurement environments, utility relationships, and regulatory processes in multiple markets — which is what separates a delivered project from a feasibility study that never leaves a drawer.
Competing providers are typically South-Africa-centric firms offering generic cross-border expansion, or large multinationals for whom a 1 MW C&I project is below minimum threshold. Nemsolar fills that gap: serious technical and financial capacity, focused on the size and geography where demand is highest.
